Privacy Policy - Sereo

Last updated: 2026-07-03

Sereo is a breathing and recovery app published by Wobblebyte. We built Sereo to keep your data on your device. This policy explains what that means.

The short version: Sereo does not have user accounts, does not run a server, and does not collect or transmit your personal data. Your heart-rate data and session history stay on your devices.

Health data

With your permission, Sereo reads your heart rate from Apple Health (HealthKit) during a session to pace your breathing and to show a relative "settling score" afterward. This data is processed entirely on your iPhone and Apple Watch. It is never sent to us or to any third party, and it is not used for advertising. You can revoke access anytime in the Health app.

The settling score is a relative guide derived from your heart-rate trend. It is not a clinical heart-rate-variability (HRV) or medical measurement, and Sereo is not a medical device.

Session history

Records of your completed sessions, including time, duration, and settling score, are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database. They are not uploaded. Deleting the app removes them.

Subscriptions

Sereo Pro is an auto-renewable subscription sold through Apple. Purchases are handled by Apple's App Store; we never see your payment details. Apple's handling of that transaction is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

Notifications

If you opt in, Sereo schedules a local daily reminder on your device. This is generated on-device and involves no server and no data collection.

Analytics

Sereo does not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. It does not track you across apps or websites and does not collect an advertising identifier.

Children

Sereo is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We'll post any changes to this page and update the date above.
